Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.
Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. eu newsroom rapid The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.
During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
